Every winery has an origin story. Ours just happens to involve a garage.

Sidedoor Cellars was built on friendship, curiosity, and the occasional "let's do it!" Our first harvest arrived through the side door of Karina's garage, where a laundry room was temporarily reassigned as a winery and every available surface found a new purpose.

What started as a passion project quickly became something more serious. Over time, harvests became vintages, questions became experience, and a shared curiosity grew into a pursuit of wines we genuinely love to drink.

As much as this story began with the two of us, it was never just ours. Along the way, generous people opened doors, shared advice, rolled up their sleeves, and reminded us that good things are built in community.

What started with a few grapes and a healthy amount of optimism has grown into something we're proud to share.
